Shanghai tourism: attracting both investors and tourists

China has gradually become a household name. Surely, everyone has felt the presence of China - in the business world, in the sports arena, in the film industry, in technology advancement, and economic development. China has definitely penetrated the world, and it may even conquer it. China is not only making itself known to the rest of the world so that they can export their cheaper products than its competitors, but more so because they want to attract and invite the rest of the world to come and experience real China. What better way to do it than to go and visit the place itself.

How can one feel the real China? What's the best course of action when faced with this kind of challenge? Indeed, there are several ways to tour around the country, but if a person will only have a couple of days to stay, then he should start his journey in Shanghai. Shanghai allows tourists to see a glimpse of the entire China. It has something for tradition and culture, arts and crafts, history and culture, technology and industrialization, nature and animals, and more. Though Shanghai tourism is not that popular yet, it has made possible the fun, excitement, and learning of something and knowing something new.

Shanghai tourism has been focused recently that there are more developments in terms of transportation, communication, security, and technology. One can get around Shanghai through taxis, car rentals, buses, and subways. Shanghai is a big place but there are would not be a problem touring around because several public transportation is available. Communication is not anymore a problem in Shanghai. Several telephone and mobile companies are in place to help you with local and international calls. Though non-Chinese speaking tourists may find it hard at first, one would find that English has been spoken in several areas already and that several English-speaking guides and locals can help you around.

When Shanghai tourism is the center of discussion, it is not impossible to mention the famous attractions and sites it has. It is where the Great Wall is located, the Bund, the Huangpu River, and several museums and parks. Though spending 2 or 3 days in Shanghai may not allow one to visit all the beautiful places in the city, at least one gets to go sightseeing the famous ones. When he does, it is quite likely that he'll take another Shanghai visit again.

Shanghai tourism offers a lot to both local and international tourists, and hopefully one day, everyone gets to visit it, if not for its sites, at least for its people and culture.
