You will need remove a couple of screws before you will have access to the recoil assembly coming off, and once you have taken the housing off you will see the rope know tied inside the inner housing. You should first try simply pulling the string because this will usually fix the problem, if not untie and retie again.

This includes a chainsaw sharpener for one, which you use to sharpen the blade. You may even want to have a selection of a few different sharpeners, but use them with caution because they can be dangerous if they are not used properly.
